Personal Notage: Well what did I think of this movie. Well personally I thought this movie was kinda AWSOME! (only the japanese version). The story really just moved me and the animation was excellent. Need I say more no I may not but just to fill in some space I would just like to say that.......Well there really isn't anything to say. Now on to the review.

Intro: When I first got this DVD I was very excited. One because I had never seen it before in Japanese and two because I had never had a DVD before. I had seen the dubbed version of the special and my impressions of it were that it sucked. The voice acting wasn't the greatest and the music was horrible. Although I must say it was better then the Bardock special. So I was excited to see the glory of the japanese version. Now on to the review.

Video Quality: When I had put the DVD into the DVD player and started up the movie I had at once been impressed with the quality of the picture. It was crisp and clear with very few lines across the screen. I have seen clips from some fansubs of the Trunks special and let me tell you anything that you have seen this blows it away.  FUNimation has done a very good job in enhancing the picture to make it clear.

Audio Quality: The music.  One word. Perfect. When the first sound of the original score came into ear shot it was like poetry in motion. Nough said really the music in the japanese version is perfect. Although it was kinda in a monotone it is better than some of the other DVDs sound Quality. Now onto the dub. The music is still incrediably bad. Just some guitars playing in places that shouldn't be played. Oh god please let the music get better please. God I wish it would hail, hail the size of trucks on FUNimations musical recording studio.

Other: Well there were no new extras added to this DVD that weren't added to every other DVD. There is still the World of Dragonball crap and just some commercials and previews that we could all just give a s@#$ about. So nothing too notible about that. The menus are well done with some music from the dubbed version.

Overall: Overall this DVD is awsome. I think any of you that have a DVD player should pick this one up because you will not be disapointed unless you watch the dubbed version. Very few mistakes on this DVD and if I were to rate this i would give it a 9/10 but still not perfect *cough* dub * cough*. Oh and on a personal note if you were to watch the dub you will notice when Trunks and Gohan are eating they saying something rather funny. If you are going to watch the dub watch it for that. CHEW ATTACK.
